Manuel Ferrigato Campaign for International Mountain Summit

In January The International Mountain Summit (IMS) together with Creative Director Arno Dejaco came knocking on Manuel Ferrigato’s door again. Being a regular, loyal and overly happy client of the Italien born Photographer, Manuel was the IMS’ first choice for the new campaign for their latest Summit of high climbers even though it wasn’t his portrait skills they were after. As on the agenda this time around was a trip to the fearsomely impressive North face of Die Drei Zinnon, one of the most beautiful and impressive mountains within the Dolomites to capture it's formidable beauty as a landscape image.

Given the time of year though and the thick onset of winter, certain logistical complications arose. Never one to be beaten, even by Mother Nature, Manuel plotted and planned to make it all still happen. Unable to travel up the mountain by ski and ski-lifts, he decided to charter a single propeller plane and made his way to his subject in the only form of transport possible. I think you’ll find that not only did that decision make the shoot possible but it added something quite special to the final image too. Please feel free to take a peak at the finished campaign here.
